ABOUT KANYAKA LODGE

Kanyaka Lodge has been in operation as a private lodge since 2017. In 2020 it was overhauled by the new owners and opened up to the public.

Kanyaka Lodge is a family owned and operated lodge on Inhaca Island in Mozambique. Being in a sub tropical climate it has lush green gardens and is surrounded by indigenous bushland. A plethora of bird life and some of the most stunning views and sunsets imaginable - we never tire of the view.

As a family run lodge we wanted to provide a place that families can escape to that offers luxury but at the same time caters for children. 

​

We are firm believers in supporting the local population and Mozambique in general. You will find Coffee from Niassa and Gorongosa, tea from Gurue and an abundance of locally sourced products and seafood. 

​

We use no chemicals at Kanyaka. All our cleaning products are biodegradable and our gardens are organic with no pesticides or chemical fertilisers. You will find locally produced soaps and other natural personal hygiene products.
